We finally have a professional aluminum enclosure for our low pass filter board. This box is manufactured by our sheet metal fabricator. Our sheet metal supplier specializes in aircraft and military components.
The cover is secured with 4 machine screws (not shown).

So just what does a low pass filter do?
All amplifiers generate harmonics. Harmonics are carriers that can interfere with other radio services. They can draw unwanted attention to your broadcast station from regulatory agencies.
Harmonics are generated at multiples of your fundamental frequency. For example, if you are transmitting at 100Mhz there will be a carrier at 200MHz and 300MHz etc. This low pass filter will prevent these signals from being transmitted by your antenna.
